i have been to the doctors and have been checked i came up clean i hooked up with this girl who is currantly my fiance’ and she is pregnant now she had a pap smear and came up positive i found out that i was the carrier ,they dont check men for it!! and they dont treat men neither!!! so if it is so bad why dont they cure men then?or test men? i thought i had a clean bill of health this whole time and i find this out!?this is wrong i have always been safe and have gotten checked.

HPV can clear up on its own. Not all dysplasia is caused by the HPV virus. Avoid surgical procedures such as LEEP conizations since this can cause vulvodynia and nerve damage causing sexual dysfunction. Most gynecologist are not aware of the nerves in the pelvic area, cervix and genital area. Men are not usually treated for HPV. If a gynecologist wants to do a surgical or chemical treatment for a diagnosis of dysplasia or HPV. Find another gynecologist.

@Beckimudd I’d have to agree with you. My doctor told me the exact same thing He also told me that only a small fraction of HVP strands cause visible symptoms (ie, warts and CIN)- most of them just hang around in the bloodstream but rarely turn into anything else as the body clears it up (and I got a second and third opinion on that, which only confirmed it for me).

yep yep u can get an std even with a condom like herpes. the condom only protects so much only the penis but the rest comes in contact with the vagina and thats all you need liquid and skin contact so many people can have it and they cant tell
